Meeting Every Sunday after 9:00 am Mass 10:30 – 11:30am in Old Church

A weekly Bible Study program here at St. Matthias in English. We are journeying through the Bible in chronological order using the “Ascension Press Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation” program.  We follow the 14 narrative books of the Bible that describe God's plan from creation, the formation of Israel, the Kingdom, Babylonian exile, Christ's life on Earth, and the formation of the Church. Throughout our journey together, we learn how our Mass traditions are tied to scripture, how the Apostle Creed references scripture, and much more about our Faith.

In addition to the hour each week there will be outside readings, videos, or workbook questions that could take 1-2 hours of your time each week to help prepare for the coming class discussion.  A podcast by Fr. Mike Schmitz will also be available where you can follow along to the entire study's readings.
