Welcome to our church family!
We're so glad you're here.
“Essential to the proper celebration of the Sacred Liturgy is to maintain an orderly, seasonally appropriate, beautiful, welcoming and sacred environment within the Church. The Art and Environment committee attends to this need by studying relevant Church documents, engaging in creative planning and executing plans that receive the Pastor’s approval. Their work is intended to inspire in all who enter the Church building, "how lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord, mighty God!". (Psalm 84:1)”
The purpose of this ministry is to provide our worship space with an environment for liturgical experiences and to feel the presence of God. The goal is to care for all the elements of worship, insuring that the total environment in and around our church is clean, appropriate, authentic, beautiful and accessible.
With the size of our new church, it has become a bigger undertaking to continue toperform all the tasks needed for the liturgical experiences, We need volunteers in many areas. Participation may include a one time project, seasonal support such as Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter, or an ongoing interest reflecting your personal talents and interests,
There are many aspects to this ministry thatrequires support, time, and and commitment. The following is a list of tasks that falls under this ministry.
Consider this ministry as a way to serve God and your parish. If interested or have questions, please contact Debbie Okopinski at [email protected]
