St. Matthias partners with ParishSoft Giving for Online Donations that integrates directly with our Parishioner Accounts.
Donors can send contributions from their credit, debit, checking or savings account in lieu of bringing cash or checks to church each Sunday. Donations can be assigned to multiple funds: weekly offertory, second collections, and directly to ministries.
Donations get posted directly
to year-end statements.

Donations for Mass Weekly Offertory made through Venmo will be classified as "Loose Cash". If you would like your offertory donation on your year-end statement, please use ParishSoft Giving, envelopes, or loose checks.
Please designate what the donation/payment is for. Examples: "First Collection March 12th"

Instructions To securely make a text gift:
1. Text GIVE to 281-356-0202
2. Follow the prompts- Click the link
- Select which Fund you would like to give to
- Enter required information3. Save the number in your phone for future donations
If you have not established an account with ParishSoft Giving, you will be prompted to fill out a one-time registration form and after that, giving is as simple as sending a single text.
You may also donate to a direct fund using specific Keywords linked to the fund. For example, you may text WeeklyOffering to donate toward the weekly offering. Text the keyword for a Fund then the amount you'd like to donate.

Text EDIT to update your information, set up a recurring gift, and check the status of a gift. (Once you have established an account after your first donation).

Text REFUND within 15 minutes of your gift to cancel your donation.

Absolutely. Any personal or financial information you enter is encrypted using SSL security – the same state-of-the-art security measures used by online retailers, banks, and other financial institutions. Your phone number will never be sold, traded, or given to third parties.

We accept donations from credit/debit cards as well as your Bank Account (our recommendation). While we’re happy to accept your donation by any means, Bank Account donations cost significantly less, allowing more of your gift to go towards ministry.

No. That said, we do recommend creating one so that you can view your online giving history. Also, you will be asked to create an account if you’d like to setup recurring donations.
