ResponsabilitiesThe Guadalupano Group exists to promote the extension of public and private devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, provide aid and assistance to members as they develop in their christian life, organize the annual Parish celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th, take communion as a group on the second Sunday of the month and meet once a month accompanied by Deacon Rafael Millet as Spiritual Guide.
Below is an overview of the Group’s meeting schedule and activities:
Meetings:- One Monthly Meeting – 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm - Spiritual Guide: Deacon Rafael Millet (meeting date may change on special occasions or holidays)
- Receive communion as a group – 1:00pm Mass – 2nd Sunday of the Month
- Celebration Honoring Our lady of Guadalupe – December 12th
- Novena - Our Lady Guadalupe December 3rd – December 11th
- Host one of the Christmas Celebrations “Posadas”
- Rosary the 12th of each month
- Daily Rosary - May and October
- Lent Fundraiser Fish Fry
- Stations of the Cross
- Bazaar – Tacos and Fresh Fruit Drinks
- Capital Campaign – Special Sale
- Visit the Sick (when requested)
- Attend Funerals (when requested)
- Bazaar – All funds are for St. Matthias The Apostle Catholic Church
- Lent Fundraiser Fish Fry – 2 Guadalupano’s Maria Tierra Blanca Memorial Scholarship $1000.00 USD (Students that are active members of St. Matthias Church)
- Guadalupano Missionaries – 1 Seminarian Full Scholarship $1200.00 USD
- Other Sales – Main cost of all sales
- Capital Campaign – All funds are for the building of the New Church
