Virtus Training for Ministry Work

Protecting God’s Children is a three hour session including two videos and facilitated discussions focusing on the prevention of abuse and the protection of children. This workshop is mandatory for all volunteers who have regular contact with children and open to all who want to create a safe environment for all God’s children.

Keeping the Promise Alive is a 1 1/2 hour refresher course. If you have taken Virtus prior to 2009 then you must take the refresher course in order to continue to work with children. They are both offered on an ongoing basis at neighboring parishes.
